Oklahoma trending for 2026 dt Brian Harris from Florida

The Oklahoma Sooners seem to be about to create their first defensive commitment of recruitment class 2026. Brian Harris, a defender from Jacksonville, Florida, will announce his commitment on May 23.

Over a week after his commitment ceremony, On3 Director of the National Recruitment Steve Wiltfong published an on3 forecast that favored the Oklahoma Sooners in Harris' recruitment.

Harris is a three-star defensive daple prospect, but is currently listed at 6-foot 4 and £ 290. He has offers from a strong group of College programs, including Michigan, Alabama, Ole Miss, Colorado, Auburn, West Virginia and Penn State.

Previously, he was in Norman for the future freaks weekend from Oklahoma and will be an official visit to Norman on June 6th.

Already in March he was appointed UA Next Orlando MVP for his work in the camp.

As a player, Harris really has a good size for the line of defense. What jumps the most from the screen is its speed and the power with which he plays. He is a violent player and mixes a physical style of play with really good sportiness for an almost £ 300. For Mandarin High, he came up with a lot as a defensive end in three-man fronts and showed the opportunity to get the corner to attack quarterbacks. He does a great job in the persecution of backside and shows a strong engine to reach the line and chase the return from behind. He shows a good understanding of playing with angles and the use of his arm length to avoid offensive linemen.

Here is what Harris said on May 10th John Garcia of the rivals.

The Oklahoma Sooners seem to earn a commitment of a talented and underestimated view in class 2026. Brian Harris will be a difference at the college level and could even be a day of the day.
