NBA Draft Lottery Live updates: Projections, views and orders with Cooper Flagg Probably No. 1 Selection

In the current lottery setup, 14 ping pong balls are placed in a lottery machine and four are moved out at the same time. There are 1,001 possible combinations of the four balls (regardless of the order), and 1,000 of these combinations are assigned to the 14 teams. The number of assigned combinations is in line with the team's chances of winning to win the lottery. For example, the teams with the worst, second worst and third and third-party records have 140 assigned combinations (which correspond to the lottery with their 14 percent chance).

After the balls have been placed in the machine, they are mixed for 20 seconds, then the first ball is removed. Then the remaining balls are mixed for another 10 seconds before the second ball is removed, which is repeated for the third and fourth balls. The team with this assigned combination of four balls receives the No. 1 selection.

The process is then repeated with the same balls for picks No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4. If a united combination is drawn, the result of this drawing is rejected and the balls are drawn again.

After the fourth election was drawn, design slots are assigned five to 14 in reverse order of the regular season records. Thus, a team with the worst data record cannot select lower than the fifth, the second worst data record cannot select lower than the sixth and so on.

While the shipment announces the draft from 14 to one, every unveiling that a team is repelled in the design is a sign that another team has jumped.
