Miami Hurricanes player, who was released from the hospital after Largo crash -NBC 6 Südflorida

A football player from Miami Hurricanes, who was injured in a weekend accident in which a woman and two children were dead, was released from the hospital.

Adarius Hayes, Linebacker from Hurricanes, was one of the drivers in the accident with two vehicles, in which three people killed and at least two more injured, the police said.

The three, which died of the consequences of the crash, were all in a Kia soul that was driven by Hayes in his hometown Largo, Florida on Saturday, the police said.

No tickets or criminal complaints were submitted, although the examination continues. Hayes was taken to the hospital and has been released since then, the Hurricanes said on Monday.

“We are deeply sad to find out that this led to three deaths, as confirmed by the Largo police, and our thoughts and prayers are with the families and relatives of the lost people,” said the hurricanes in a explanation.

The school is still working to collect further information.

A 78-year-old woman who drove the Kia died, the police said on Sunday. The police announced on Saturday that two children between the ages of 10 and 4 were also killed in the crash, and on Sunday the investigation went to the point where the police confirmed that they were both passengers in the KIA.

Another passenger in the Kia was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, the police said.

“There was no signs of impairment by the two drivers of the vehicle,” said Megan Santo, public information officer of Largo, in a statement that was distributed on Sunday.

Hayes played last season in 12 games as a newcomer for Miami, mainly in special teams. He was a four-star recruit that came from Largo High, and chose Miami, after arousing interest from Florida, Florida State, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame and Ohio State.

Largo is located about 20 miles east of Tampa and about 15 miles north of St. Petersburg on the Golf coast of Florida.
