Ucla Bruins will compete in the Columbus, Ohio, Ohio, in the NCAA Division I volleyball championship of the NCAA Division I against Long Beach on Monday, May 12th (12th 2025).

In the second season in a row, the volleyball teams of the Long Beach State and the UCLA men will be at the game with a national championship.

The UCLA with the third seed, which is pursuing its 22nd national crown and wants to be the first program that has won three in a row in more than 40 years, has to come past the team that has spent most of the 2025 season on the ranking. Long Beach met an absurd .720 in the third set, with Nikolov's record-ace giving a lead of 12: 8. A 3-0 pound run, which was covered by a coat of Connor Bloom, provided a lead of 24 to 18 and Kandev secured the set with a kill.

Long Beach scored in the decisive fourth set .552, but Pepperdine scored .412 when the teams organized another narrow fight. After 13 ties, LBSU got a few large pieces from Isaiah Prussia for a 16-15 lead. The regular champions of the Big West Conference expanded their lead with a 5-1 run to 21: 18. Pepperdine at 22-21, but Dickinson gave Long Beach a setpoint at 24-22 and his 19th Kill ended the match with 25: 23.

Hawaii came with a kill of Louis Sakanoko with 22: 21, but the teams exchanged service errors, then the UCLA scored the next two points, with Rowan Robinson set up for his ninth kill to secure the match.

Roure led the warriors with 12 kills with two aces while he scored .333.

Long Beach won both games of the regular season against UCLA, although both were played at the beginning of the season. LBSU won a four-set match at home on February 7th and then swept the Bruns five nights later in the Pauley Pavilion.
