Giro d'Italia Route

The Giro d'Italia will begin in Albania for the first time. The first three stages take place exclusively on the Balkan Peninsula, including a stay in the capital Tirana.

When entering Italy, the race moves through the southern regions, including Naples, before it presses north.

The most important Italian cities along the route include Pisa and Siena, the latter, with a stage on Strede Bianche with gravel sectors on white Tuscan roads.

But it is the last week in which the fight for Pink is probably paid. The race dares to go into the Alps and deals with legendary climbs like Monte Grappa, Mortirolo and Colle Delle Finestre, while the Big Hitter tries to upgrade things before the grand finale in Rome.
