The Dear Evan Hansen Star shared the late puppy in an Instagram post on May 10th a warm homage: “We had to say goodbye to George much too early yesterday.”

The 31-year-old actor, who is married to Broadway colleague Noah Galvin, announced that George, also known as Georgie, was named after the artist Georges Seurat. Sunday in the park with George“Because he was born on his nose with tiny pointillist points.”

Platt called George his “first baby” and announced that the couple only had the dog for four years and not detailed, which led to the early death of the pet.

“George saved me millions of times and he brought every single person to whom he had met,” wrote unbridled joy, “wrote Platt. “He was the happiest and most loving boy I could ever imagine. He loved people more than anything else, especially babies and children. I think he was an angel, too perfect and special to be here for a long time.”

When the actor George's death mourns, he announced that he woke up “surreal and terrible” without his dog.
