Montgomery woman killed in the crash of Pike County

Pike County, Ala. (WSFA) -A multi -car crash with a commercial vehicle, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, claimed a woman from Montgomery.

Michelle Denise Johnson, 53, was fatally injured on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. when the car she drove met a tractor -trailer and was then hit by an oncoming car.

Johnson was passed away at the crime scene.

The driver of the other car was transported to the Southeast Health in Dothan for treatment for injuries.

Not a word about the condition of the tractor.

The crash occurred at US 231 about two miles south of Brundidge in Pike County.

No further information is available, since Alea -Troopers continue to examine the circumstances of the crash.
