Minnesota Twins hear the news with bad injuries about one of their top prospects

Luke Keschall, number 3 in the Minnesota Twins Farm System, contributed to the Big Club in his first week of the MLB campaign. But then he was hit by a playing field in his right forearm and caused a non -thin fracture.

Now the boy will not return to the twins soon.

The athletics reported on Tuesday that the 22 -year -old Kechall does not have to be operated on, but it is not ready to play for a while. It is not even re -rated for at least a month.

“It will probably take a few months to play again,” said coach Nick Paparesta, according to The Athletic.

Kechall was classified by MLB Pipeline as No. 57 in the baseball as the team raised it from Triple-A St. Paul.

He gave his MLB debut in Atlanta on April 18 and was 7: 19 (.368) with three doubles and two RBIs in seven games. He also scored four times, ran five times and steel five bases, so the twins gave a needed offensive spark.

The news is better for Royce Lewis, number 1 of the total design selection in 2017 by the twins that have been on the list of injured list since the beginning of the season because the left thigh load began. The infield is closer to a return as a ceitage, and on Tuesday he played in a planned Douleheader for the Triple-A St. Paul Saints.

In the first game against the Columbus Clippers (Cleveland Guardians Affiliate) he went 0: 3 when the second was triggered. It is expected to return to the twins on May 6th.
