ACM Awards that return to Amazon Prime Video in 2026

TThe ACM awards will return to Prime Video next year.

The producer of the Academy of the Country Music and ACM, Dick Clark Productions (DCP), has concluded a contract with Prime video for the return of the show in the service, which will carry out it in 2028 by its 63rd ceremony.

The news will follow the 60th anniversary show of the ACM Awards, which flocked live in the main video of Amazon from the Ford Center in Star in Frisco, Texas on May 8. The show also flocked live for an international audience in more than 240 countries and territories, exclusively on Prime Video and Amazon Musics Channel on Twitch.

During this year's ceremony, Lainey Wilson took home the best honor of the entertainer of the year (marked her second victory in a row in the category) and the artist of the year, songwriter artist of the year and the album of the year (for for Whirlwind). Ella Langley earned most trophies of the evening with five wins, followed by Wilson with four wins. Alan Jackson received the first ACM Lifetime Achievement Award, while Keith Urban was awarded the ACM Triple Crown Award.

The 60th Academy of Country Music Awards was produced by DCP, with Raj Kapoor serve as an executive producer and show runner and Patrick Menton as a co-executive producer. Whiteside was the executive producer of the Academy of Country Music while Penske and Barry Adelman served as executive producers for DCP, with John Saade Work as a consulting producer for Amazon MGM Studios.

The ACM Awards are produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a joint venture between Eldridge Industries and Advertising board Parent company Penske Media.
