Illegal immigrant who was convicted of killing sports producers when crashing on the CCC Bridge

New Orleans (Wvue) – A Honduran national life in the USA was illegally convicted and convicted of a crash in which the long -term WGNO sports producer Mark Deane was killed.

Attorney General Liz Murrill's troop Nola Division announced the conviction on Monday, May 12th, before the Orleans criminal court.

Jorge Martinez-Sanche said guilty, negligent murder, ruthless operation and trip without a driver's license in the accident of August 23, 2024, in which Deane's life at Crescent City Connection Bridge demanded.

The judge in Orleans Parish Criminal District Willard, Willard, condemned Martinez-Sanchez in the Department of Corrections to 10 years and exposed four years. He will serve six years behind bars. Federal immigration officers were informed about the conviction.

“Jorge Martinez-Sanchez was an illegal alien who should never have been in this state or country,” said Attorney General Murrill. “If you are an illegal extraterrestrial and commit a crime in Louisiana, you will be fully pursued by the law.”

The 48 -year -old Deane was on the way to work when his motorcycle was thrown into another vehicle from behind in the alleys of the bridge in the alleys in the bridge in the east, and although he was wearing a helmet, he died at the scene.

Martinez-Sanchez, who was not injured in the accident, was arrested shortly after the incident.

Murrill says Deane has returned to New Orleans to take care of his aging mother and to be closer to his son.
