FOX adds the late season NFL Saturday Doubleheader, emphasizes MLB, World Cup, Indy 500 in advance

When the NFL and Uppers Week has increasingly intertwined, the great news of the FOX presentation is that the network ended up an NFL week 16 on Saturday with Doupheheder. The Eagles Commanders and Packers-Bears compete against the first round of the CFP.

Erin Andrews and Tom Brady broke the news, and Brady threw Rob Gronkowski a football that appeared in the crowd. Brady fell his goal the first time and sent the ball into the crowd (reminded of 2023s when Gronk, Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez and Carli Lloyd had thrown balls into the crowd).

Although the NFL messages took place towards the end of the event, the presentation of FOX contained a star farmer, with Jeter led by the presentation before introducing Jamie Foxx.

When it was Gronks on the stage, he was almost decorated by the pre -screen screen. Jane Lynch and Harris Faulkner joined Gronk, and when he mistakenly suspected the year of the first preliminary stage, he said of Lynch:

Tubi had his greatest presence in Fox in advance and revealed a new series of original content and emphasized its growing importance in sports after his Super Bowl simulcast. CEO Anjali Sud told the crowd that Tubi also complement Foxs 2026 FIFA World Cup programs for men and create exclusive stories and follow the world's leading football players.

Michael Strahan came on the stage not to highlight the NFL, but the Indy 500 and to tell the audience that he is a big fan of cars and that he will drive the honorary car on May 25th. “I had all my friends who sent me videos of Pace cars that crashed,” said Strahan. “I don't have good friends.”

Strahan introduced David Letterman on stage (and picked him up physically). Letterman, a long -time Indycar team owner, then introduced driver Josef Newgarden. Newgarden shorter than the Borg Warner Trophy, in which he was standing next to him, has the chance to write the story later this month as the first three-gate 500 winner.

Jon Hamm, David Ortiz and Alex Rodriguez came together to present Fox 'animated block and MLB. After the NFL messages, Andrews, Brady and Strahan advertised the World Cup. Andrews predicts that the event will reach over 150 million viewers and “Shatter Records for Fox Sports”.

A group that we did not see on stage this year was the talent for “Big Noon Kickoff”. Brady and Andrews were those who spoke about big matchups on Fox like Ohio State-Texas and Osu-Michigan-not the gang on Saturday morning. FOX has some plots to make up for College Football audience on two again in 2025 after ESPN/ABC had a strong 2024 campaign after the SEC was completely in the fold.

I was also a little surprised that Fox One, the new DTC Streaming Service of the company, which he used to introduce in the day that will be started in autumn (and it includes sport). Perhaps this is because details are still sparse. During the current earnings authorization by FOX, CEO Lachlan Murdoch did not give any details about pricing the service, the service said that the service in the wholesale price corresponds (ie pay the payment distributors of the Pay TV to offer its channels).

But after years of stay on the edge with DTC, FOX is now marching forward.
