Josh Smith rests; Kumar Rocker, Cody Bradford Rampt

Arlington – beaten up? Seven different positions in one and a half months could do this.

Texas Rangers Super Utility man Josh Smith missed the opener from Monday on Monday against the Colorado Rockies on the Globe Life Field with what manager Bruce Bochy called “back pain”. He was originally supposed to play on Monday, but reported the disease in the middle afternoon.

This season, Smith played Shortstop, third basis, second basis, first basis and each of the three outer field positions for the Rangers and thrown .316/.395/.474. He was shaken after colliding with Boston Red Sox -Infield Romy Gonzalez on the first basis with Boston Red Sox -Infield.

Here you will find a handful of other injury updates to start the home stock.

RhP Kumar Rocker: He threw a 26-pitch bullpen Monday and, according to Bochy, looked “free and simple”. Rocker (right shoulder tension) has been offside since April 24th and next could throw a live bullpen, which depends on how to recover from the session on Monday. It is still unclear whether Rocker, who in his first five starts this season had an 8.10 -era, will return to the rotation of the Major League or go to the minors as soon as he is healthy.

LHP Cody Bradford: Bradford (Elbow Freain) is said to throw a bullpen on Thursday. It would be his first since it was closed in the middle of spring training. He is only fasting and switched to this point during his ascent, but did not start as a precaution to turn the ball.

By Kevin Kälen: Pillar said on Monday that he felt okay after going on the injured list of inflammation in the lower back last week. He did the impact on Monday and can return on Thursday.
