Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is now officially with a 5.8 mm profile, 3,900 mAh battery

After months of teasers, leaks and rumors, Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is finally officially a preventive strike by the Korean company against the iPhone 17 air, which is said to be present in autumn.

As you may have expected, everything revolves around thinness – 5.8 mm. The phone weighs only 163 g, and to reach these numbers, the obvious victim in the battery roof, where a 3,900 mAh cell had to do. It calculates up to 25 W via wires with a 55% reached in “approx. 30 minutes” with a Samsung adapter (which you have to buy separately, as there are none in the box). There is also wireless charging support.

The 6.7-inch dynamic 2-fold display of S25 Edge has a QHD+ hesolution, a variable update rate of 1-120 Hz and Corning's Gorilla Glass Ceramic above. It is driven by the Snapdragon 8 elite for Galaxy, paired with 12 GB RAM and either 256 GB or 512 GB memory.

On the back there is a 200 MP main camera with 1: 1.7 -cover and OIS, which according to Samsung “2x Optical Quality Zoom” is able. In addition, there is a 12 -MP -Ultrawid 1: 2.2 -aperture and auto focus for macro recordings. Selfies are done with a 12 -MP camera with 1: 2.2 panel.

The S25 Edge runs Android 15 with a UI 7 above, is IP68 for dust and water resistance, has a titanium frame and is offered in “a fascinating colors”, according to the press release from Samsung, including Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack and Titanium Icyblue. The complete measurements are 158.2 x 75.6 x 5.8 mm.
