Three dead in the accident on Interstate 8 in the Imperial County

Imperial County, California (Kyma, Kecy) – The California Highway Patrol (CHP) examines a crash in which three people are dead.

The crash occurred on Saturday at 8:15 a.m. when a 21-year-old Yuma man in 1993 drove a Honda Civic in Eastbound on the Interstate 8 east of Mountain Springs Road.

Chp says: “For unknown reasons, the driver of the Honda is thrown onto the mid -median, fell and rolled on his roof.”

As a result, the driver and his passenger, a 21-year-old woman also from Yuma, became “out of the vehicle” and died of her injuries. Another passenger, a two -year -old boy from Yuma, was found in the Honda and declared dead in the scene.

According to CHP, the Imperial County Coroner office was appointed to take the body and says that their names are published until the next relative notification.

Chp says that both the driver and the passenger did not wear seat belts at the time of the crash, while the child was found in a child seat.

It is not known whether an impairment was a factor for the crash, but the examination has not yet been completed.
