Giannis deals with the confrontation with Tyrese Haliburton's father

Indianapolis-Milwauke Bucks Gianni's Antetocounmpo striker gave himself into a heated confrontation after game 5 of her first round playoff series with the father of Indiana Pacers Guard Tyrese Haliburton, which described an “incredible” exchange on the floor.

The Pacers celebrated Haliburton's starting premises with 1.3 seconds in extra time, which made it possible for them to win 119-118 on Tuesday evening. According to Antetokounmpo, Haliburton's father John went to a towel on the Bucks star and swore him.

“I believe in being humble in victory,” said Antetocounmpo after the game that Milwaukee's season ended. “Many people out there who, like, no, if you win the game, you are talking S-and it is a green light for you to be disrespectful to someone else. I do not agree.”

Antetocounmpo achieved a 30-point triple double double with 20 and 13 assisting, but Indiana forced two sales in the last 29 seconds of overtime, and Haliburton blew past Antetocounmpo to close a layup to close an 8-0 run and steal one from goat.

Antetokounmpo lingered after the sudden defeat when John Haliburton ran to the court and started talking to him. The two were face to face before they were pulled away by Bucks players and team safety.

“The emotions lose the game,” said Antetocounmpo. “A fan – in which I thought it was a fan, but then I realized that it was Tyreo's father. What I love Tyrese – I think he is a great competitor.

“His father comes to the floor and shows me his son – a towel with his face (es), (says) 'This is what we do. We do that.' I have the feeling that this is very, very disrespectful.

Antetocounmpo said he spoke to John Haliburton after the battle and “we are in a good place”.

Tyrese Haliburton said he did not know what happened until he returned to the changing room, but he agreed that his father was outside the line and said he had a conversation with him.

“I don't agree to what he turned away from him,” said Haliburton. “Basketball is basketball and let us keep it on the pitch. I think he was just excited, made his son a game winner and came on the pitch, but we had a conversation.

“He just has to allow me to play basketball and stay there, and I will come to him to celebrate. But the feelings of the game were excited there. I spoke to him. I will speak to Giannis. I don't think my pops were there in the right.”

It was the second Scharmützel santetocounmpo had to be separated after game 5. He exchanged words with Pacers Guard Bennedict Mathurin when the two shared a hug in which Antetocounmpo put his hand in Mathurin's neck and pushed him away from the Pacers -Guard before they had to be separated from teamatates.

“This series was a lot of word war,” said Haliburton. “A war of the wear. Many personal things. This is only part of this rivalry and what we have built here in the past few years.”
