We are in the middle of the season of the county and the conference championship, since JSZ brings you a trio of tournament games from the diamond. Ranney and Point Pleasant Beach fight in the Shore Conference tournament and have quarter-finals from the Cape-Atlantic League tournament. Landon Haines delivered an RBI single from go-a-haad RBI in the sixth when the Blue Devils with fourth seeds won a close struggle with the spartans with fifth seeds. Haines ended with 2 RBIs, while PJ Hroncich also drove two runs for Hammonton (12-6). Bernie Hargadon tied the game with an RBI single for the Holy Spirit (14-8) to the top of the sixth place. Hammonton occurs in front of the top seed in the Cal tournament semi-final later this week in front of St. Augustine.

Kyle Vanaman (8 ks in five innings) and Jacob Budd (3 ks in two inner sings) combined to throw a shutout for the third names pirates. Richie Gonzales drove in the only deserved run of the game with a victim fly for Creek (14-6). The pirates will compete in the semi-finals of the Cal tournament in front of the second seed mainland on Thursday. Adam Radzieta beat six game efforts for the sixth Panthers with six games, while the newcomer Kyle Mick went 3: 3 with a double loss.
