Yankees smash four Homeruns in the series opening win against Mariners (highlights)

The New York Yankees opened their series in Seattle on Monday evening with an 11: 5 victory, but the victory was affected by a serious injury to Oswaldo Cabrera in the ninth inn. The infielder fell to the ground after he had hit a victim fly and seemed to injure the ankle while he turned back into the home plate. Cabrera was removed from the field in an ambulance in an air cast.

Before the injury, the offensive of the Yankees came to life and wore the Mariner's starter Emerson Hancock. After a quiet first trip through the order, the bats ignited. Trent Grisham met twice and drew both times in New York and Aaron Judge, Ben Rice and Austin Wells, to open the game with a mixture of small balls and big hits. Wells ended his eighth of the season with four RBIs, including a triple shot.

Clarke Schmidt gave up Julio Rodríguez a first Inning Homer, but got involved after a few early fights. He worked in seventh place before giving in to the Bullpen what it managed to take the lead despite a late Homer from Cal Raleigh.

Anthony Volpe added insurance with a high -towering solo shot in the eighth, his sixth of the season, and Richter drove in the last run.
