First strike from TCG Anadolu with combat pollution

The two drones called PT-3 and PT-4 started as an electro-optical targeting system from the short-covering TCG anadolu and Aselsans used to recognize and hit their goals with the exact accuracy. Both Ucavs returned safely to the ship after the strike.

The start marked the first known company of Bayraktar TB3S in a fully loaded configuration, each wearing a payload of 162 kilograms with two MAM-L ammunition (22 kg) and an ASFIR 600 sensor system.

Operational ability of seabared platforms

According to Baykar, the TB3 is the first UCAV worldwide, which starts and ends up from short -term ships. The most recent test is the big milestone in improving the operating capacity of the drone of marine platforms.

The CEO of Retsan, Murat Ikinci, commented on the test on social media and said: “Precision through common strength. The Bayraktar TB3, which was launched by TCG Anadolu with our MAM-L ammunition, hit his goal with perfect accuracy.”

Use and weapon loading on TCG Anadolu

On May 9th, the PT-3 and PT-4 drones from Kesan to the TCG-Anadolu were used. After the transfer, attempts to do the board were successfully carried out in on -board ammunition.

The chairman of Baykar, Selcuk Bayraktar, published video material with the TB3 prototypes on May 11, which conduct the successive starts and landings on the ship. In the pictures, the drones were visibly equipped with MAM-L ammunition under their wings.

“As part of the preparatory flights for the Denizcurdu II exercise, the Bayraktar TB3S PT-3 and PT-4 were transferred from Kesan to TCG Anadolu,” he said.

The TB3s took part in the large-scale Sewolf II/2025 exercise, which was carried out by the command of the Turkish naval motto over the Black Sea, the sea of Marmara, the Aegean Sea and the eastern Mediterranean. The successful strike on a country goal was seen as an important achievement in the development of the combination performance of the TB3 by maritime platforms with short runs.

Ongoing attempts with weapons integration

Bayraktar TB3 continues the weapon integration efforts and has already carried out successful test fires with Rotsans MAM-T and the IHA-122 Superschall rocket. On January 17, 2025, the TB3 from Baykar's flight training and test center started in Kesan and carried out a strike directly hit using two MAM-T ammunition.

In April, the drone also carried out four settings missions to the TCG Anadolu, while the ship sailed through the Gulf of Saros.

Bayraktar TB3 carried out his first successful test flight with TCG Anadolu on November 19, 2024. On April 22, 2025, she completed completely autonomous start and landing tests from the short-deck ship.

Baykar found that the TB3 with its foldable wings and the communication skills via the line of sight are given a significant operational advantage, which enables the education, surveillance, intelligence and strike missions against overseas targets.
