PSU -Männerbasketball player Yanic Konan Niederhauser invited to the NBA Combine | News, sports, jobs

University Park – Penn State's basketball player, Yanic Konan Niederhauser, was invited to the NBA Combine this week after a strong performance in the G League Elite Camp last weekend.

Konan Niederhauser, who had recently completed his junior season in Penn State, explained the NBA design of 2025 and kept his authorization with the intention of returning to Penn State in early April.

The 2025 NBA Combine will take place this week in the Wintrust Arena and in the Marriott Marquis in Chicago.

Konan Niederhauser impressed last weekend in Chicago in the G League Elite Camp with an average of 15.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game, while he shot 82.4 percent (14-17) from the field on Saturday and Sunday. He is one of the few players whose G League Elite Camp Performance earned him an invitation to participate in the NBA combinatin.

He ended the 2024-25 season at Penn State on average 12.9 points and one team best 6.3 rebounds per game, in addition to a ten best brand of 2.31 blocks per game, which took the 12th place among the players of Division I. Konan Niederhauser also led the Nittany Lions with a 61.1 field target percentage this season.

Born in Switzerland, 19 in his first season in Happy Valley 19 two-digit goals, four double doubles and three over 20 points scored.

Konan Niederhauser moved to Penn State before the 2024-25 season and enjoyed immediate development among Nittany Lion employees, although in his first season in the first season in Blue & White, it achieved a jump of +7.8 points per game.

He is the first Nittany Lion to have been invited since the current NBA players and Penn State -Alumni Jalen Pickett and Seth Lundy.
