Celtics' Jayson Tatum, to undergo an MRI on Tuesday after game 4

Boston-Jayson Tatum suffered an apparently serious injury to the lower leg at the end of the fourth quarter of the defeat of Boston Celtics against the New York Knicks in game 4 of the semi-finals of the Eastern Conference on Monday and brought his season into potential jeopardia.

When Knick's Wing OG Anunoby a passport for Tatum with 3:07 in game 4 steel, Tatum planted his right foot behind him and his leg seemed to be output and sent to the floor. Tatum rolled in pain before the coaches finally helped him and carried him into the changing room.

The ESPN show then showed a clip of Tatum in a wheelchair in the back of the arena and seemed to be in tears.

After the game, Boston coach Joe Mazzulla said that Tatum will undergo an MRI on Tuesday and that the Celtics will “see where it works”. Mazzulla mentioned that the medical staff of Celtics only said that Tatum suffered a violation of the lower body.

“It is difficult to observe how a man how he is equipped,” said Mazzulla. “Obviously, they are always worried about the health of someone, and the fact that they had to be removed is the type that gets up directly.”

The Celtics are now surprisingly 3-1 in the series and may have lost their best player over a longer period of time.

“It's hard,” said Jaylen Brown before taking a longer break. “There is not much to say.”

Al Horford, who was together with Tatum in Boston, said: “The loss is the loss. It is even more important that Jayson is worried. I just make sure I'm there for him, and that's my priority.”

Brown mentioned that he was loss of words and saw the player with whom he worked with the Celtics franchise for almost a decade with a serious injury in Tatum's career. Tatum's family visited him after the game in the training room when the changing room was right that he heard the white sound of the air conditioning.

“I think everyone is concerned with Jayson. I'm not sure how bad it is. It didn't look great,” said Brown. “But I think everyone is more concerned with it. Obviously, the loss is huge, but we have to prepare for game 5. We will take the night and collect our heads tomorrow and put together a game plan to get out on our own floor to keep this series alive.”

The Celtics lost Tatum deep into his best game of the off -season when he scored 42 points in 40 minutes. In the playoffs that occurred on Monday evening, an average of 26.1 points and 5.6 templates per game.

With all the concerns that the Celtics have on Wednesday with the win of Game 5 to keep their season alive, Brown emphasized that the team will now concentrate on Tatum and turn back to basketball when they wake up on Tuesday.

“It is very worrying. Only from the care that I have for him and what it means to us, what it means for Boston,” said Horford. “Only very hard for us. It is even more important that it is just very difficult for him at the moment. Let's see what happens. Very hard for our group as a whole.”

When the season of Tatum is over, the Celtics have to find a way to survive for the first time in the late season.

“You will be ready. That is exactly what you are,” said Mazzulla. “It was so. It is the changing room you have and you will be ready.

To do this, you have to win three games against a Knicks team that looked as if it had won game 4 before Tatum's injury.

The Knicks Center Karl-Anthony Towns, who achieved an average of 19.3 points and 11.7 rebounds in this post-season, prayed for Tatum, while the Celtics star was on the ground.

“I just put down my head and prayed to my mother, prayed to God to protect him and comfort him,” said cities. “Whatever the injury may be, I hope it is slightly. Whatever the process has to go through, hopefully it is a quick, painless process and (we) see him again in the NBA. The NBA needs this type of superstar talent he is. I know that we compete in the playoffs at the highest level, but this is a brotherhood.”
