Henrique scored twice when the Oilers defeated the Golden Knights 3-0 in game 4 of the Playoff series

Edmonton, Alberta (AP) -Adam Henrique had two goals, Stuart Skinner scored 23 parades and the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 3-0 on Monday evening to take over a 3-1 lead in their NHL playoff series of the second round.

Evander Kane had a goal and a template for Edmonton. Connor McDavid collected an assist and extended his point strips to eight games.

“We only put on our job boots and our hard hats and went to work,” said Skinner. “The way we applied for a number of games is quite unbelievable. It is difficult and the way we made it consistently shows very proud of this group.”

The striker of Vegas, Reilly Smith, pointed out that the Golden Knights were 2-1 to Minnesota in the first round before he marched back with three consecutive victories.

“I mean, we did it last series,” he said, “so we have a lot of trust in this group and we will only take it individually.”
