2 injured, including teen, during the shooting in Miamis Little Haiti

MIAMI -A 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were injured on Monday during a shootout in Miamis Little Haiti, the police said.

Police officers used a crime scene band to block a triangular area near Northwest 56 Street and Second Avenue east of Interstate 95.

6 p.m. report:

According to Officer Kiara Delva, a spokeswoman for the police authority in Miami, police officers found a man who was wounded on the I-95 near the 71st street around 2 p.m.

The driver of a gray sedan drove a man who suffered a gunshot wound to the Ryder Trauma Center of the Jackson Memorial Hospital.

There were also police officers behind a white Dodge Durango with damage to the rear window along Interstate 95 near Northwest 71 Street.

Two child seats were on the floor outside the Durango. The passenger's side door was open. Police officers found the teenager inside, the police said.
