For the second time in his presidency, Donald Trump selected Saudi Arabia as the goal for his first official state visit after short stops in Italy and the Vatican for the funeral of Pope Francis.

Trump arrived on Tuesday shortly before 10 a.m. local time (7:00 a.m.) in Riad, Saudi Arabia, where he was greeted by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.

The US President will visit Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates (VAE) from May 13 to 16, 2025.
