Legislators say around 600 North Korean soldiers who were killed in the war in Ukraine | Russia-Ukraine was news

After briefing, the South Korean legislators are updated by the country's intelligence agency.

Around 600 North Korean soldiers were killed in the Russia war in Ukraine in the Russia, according to South Korean legislators, citing intelligence officers.

Lee Seong-Kweun and Kim Byung-Kee talked on Wednesday after a briefing from the National Intelligence Service (NIS) on Wednesday that an estimated 4,700 North Koreans were previously killed or injured in the war.

Lee and Kim, who have the secret service committee of the legislature co-chair co-chair, made their comments two days after Pyongyang confirmed for the first time that it had sent troops to Russia to support Moscow's war.

In a report by the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on Monday, the North Korean leader Kim Jong un was quoted that he instructed the use of troops to “destroy the Ukrainian neo-Nazi occupiers and to free them in cooperation with the Russian armed forces”.

The recent number of victims marks a significant leap from the NIS briefing to the legislator in January, when the espionage agency reported that around 300 North Korean troops were killed in the conflict.

In their briefing to reporter, Lee and Kim stated the members of the conservative People Power Party and the Liberal Democratic Party that the NIS estimates that Pyongyang had used a total of around 15,000 soldiers.

Legislators also said that Pyongyang received technical support in spy satellites in return for his support as well as drones, electronic warfare and SA-22 rockets from SA-22.

“After six months of participation in the war, the North Korean military has become less incapable of being improved, and its ability to fight has improved considerably because it got used to the use of new weapons such as drones,” Lee told reporters.
