Kanye West ask Kendrick Lamar & Taylor Swift Connection

Kanye West has never been one who has held back, and during his recent provocations he has now turned to Kendrick Lamar – again and again. The latest barb comes when she not only questions Kendrick's stature in hip-hop, but also his broader influence on pop culture.

In a cryptic but targeted contribution, West referred to Early Corick's Corporation with Taylor Swift, which indicates that the Compton -Rapper endangered its integrity through the focus on the mainstream pop aesthetics. “I know that Kendrick Taylor Swift didn't like to dance to the A minor line,” wrote West. “How is this 'culture'?”

The comment seems to refer Swift's choreography during one of her performances that may be aimed at the revised version of “Bad Blood”. Kendrick originally appeared in the 2015 song, which contributed to cementing Swift's crossover in hip-hop adjazent pop. Later he took up his singing for the re -publication of Swift as part of her ongoing struggle for control over her masters.

Wests DIG is double: it questions Lamar's place as a so -called defender of culture, while he reviews his own long -standing feud with Swift, a saga from the MTV VMA from 2009. But it's also personal. Both Lamar and Swift represent different industry routes with which it came together – one in artistic reluctance, the other in the supremacy of pop.

Drake joined the battle last year and relocated Kendrick's loyalty to Swift during her top -class feud. On his Diss Track “Push Ups”, Drake mocked rumored rumored rumored to record singing for the re -publication of Swift:

“Then we need a verse for the Swifties / Top Say Drop, they fall off better and give them 50.” The line frames Kendrick as the farmer of his Label boss Top Dawg and indicates that Swift's Fandom is more influence on Lamar's movements than the streets.

Kanye's recent remarks play in a broader story that he has promoted-in which Kendrick is more positioned as a polished, across the sector and more as a rebellious voice. While Kendrick is largely silent, West continues to shoot and not only shoots between artists, but between the collide of visions of black art, authenticity and commercial power.

As usual, YES reveals more about his own worldview than the artists he aims. When deciding to question Lamar's credibility through his link to Taylor Swift, Kanye has touched the pot again – and corresponds to the boundaries between personal complaint and public criticism.
