The family of 5 killed and fiery car accidents in fiery car accident on the I-45 near the FM 977 in Leon County, Texas, injured

Leon County, Texas (KTRK) – According to the authorities, an investigation is underway after a family in Houston died in Leon County on Sunday during a frontal accident.

The Texas Ministry of Public Security said that the fiery crash was taken at around 3 p.m. on the I-45 near FM 977.

The investigators said that a Dodge Pickup went south, walked from the road to the right, scored a guard area, crossed the road into the median and was arched over the cable lock.

DPS said that the driver, the 43-year-old Torian fair, then hit a 2023 Ford F-150 with a family of five to the north, and both vehicles catch fire.

The von Houston family all died at the crime scene and according to the authorities with serious injuries.

The victims were identified as a 55-year-old Hermenegildo Melendez, the 53-year-old Veronica Cerda, 26-year-old Veronica Denise Cerda, 20-year-old Rebecca Cerda and 18-year-old Daniela Cerda.
