The weather guard in County

The National Weather Service (NWS) exhibited a flood guard for Montgomery County and the surrounding area from Tuesday to Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 6 a.m. Heavy rain could lead to floods.

Prognostics expect a long to heavy rain, with embedded thunderstorms that are continued until late Tuesday evening. Rainfall of 2 to 4 inches are likely, with higher quantities possible along the eastern mountain slopes. The precipitation can cause scattered floods, especially in deep -lying or poorly grown areas.

Floods kill more people every year than any other weather. Never drive through flooded streets. If you live in a area at risk of flooding, you should pull yourself to a higher floor. Stay vigilant of warnings.
