One day after the announcement by Michael Jordan, NBC Sports announced on Tuesday that Vince Carter will be a studio analyst next season.

“I couldn't be more excited and grateful to have the opportunity to be part of the historical return of the NBA to NBC and now Peacock,” said Carter. “I am very much looking forward to connecting Melo in the studio and in the rest of the Broadcast team as a whole, as we get involved with the best reporting about NBA fans about the league that you love.”

In addition to Carmelo Anthony, Carter will be one or more nights a week in the studio that will be anchored in the Basketball Hall of Fame this year. Carter was recorded with the 2024 class last year.

Carter played for eight teams: The Toronto Raptors, New Jersey Nets, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies, Sacramento Kings and Atlanta Hawks.

Other employees for the NBA in the NBC team are expected in the coming days and months before the 2025-26 season.

The NBA legend Michael Jordan will take part in the NBA's reporting on the NBC next season, the network announced on Monday.
