Graffiti -suspect in Murfreesboro arrested with the help of crime data analysts

Thanks to the support of a crime analysis in Murfreesboro, a stroll through graffiti ended.

The words “dope”, “Doper”, “South” and “Aab Crew” were more than a dozen times in places in W. Northfield Boulevard and the MTCS Road area, said Detective.

A timeline when vandalism occurred was determined using crime data analyzes. The authorities set up monitoring on the basis of the data and observed 19-year-old Joshua Wiley Hearnes in the direction of MTCS Road.

Detectives arrested Hearnes and later accused him of over 1,000 US dollars due to vandalism.

Detective does not believe that graffiti were connected to a gang.

Hearnes was released from the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center with a bond of 5,000 US dollars. A hearing is determined for June 16 in the general meeting court.
