Fayetteville, TN, father killed, wife and children critically injured in the Mother's Day accident

Chattanooga, Tenn .. (Waff) -A man in Fayetteville, Tennessee, was killed in a multi -vehicle wreck in Chattanooga on Mother's Day.

According to the East Ridge police department, officials and firefighters were sent to the I-75 North due to an accident with six passenger vehicles and a tractor-trailer.

Two vehicles were actively on fire when the crews and civil servants arrived. Emergency staff prioritized the life -saving efforts and carried out several extrictions. All patients had been taken to the hospital.

Two people died of their wreck injuries.

One of the victims was Lane Smith from Fayetteeville, Tennessee, and the second victim, which was not identified, comes from Dawsonville, Georgia.

Smith leaves his wife Baleigh and her two children Brylee and Sawyer.

According to a gofundme, the family started on the way home on the way to her daughter's dance competition when the wreck passed.

Smith died of his injuries and his wife and children were critically injured.

As written in the Gofundme, his wife and son remain admitted to the hospital in Chattanooga while her daughter was flown to Nashville for treatment.

A total of two people were killed and seven people, including Smith's children, were injured in the wreck.

According to law enforcement officers, 65-year-old Joseph Antoinier was arrested for numerous crime commands.
