The authorities identify drivers who were killed in the frontal collision east of Lincoln

Lancaster County, Neb. (Koln) – The office of the Sheriff of the Lancaster County identified the man who was killed on Monday in a frontal collision east of Lincoln.

MPs and eagle fire and rescue reacted to an accident with two vehicles near streets 162. And o around 12:28 p.m.

A preliminary investigation showed that a Ford Focus from 61-year-old Thomas Heath traveled east to the O Street when he moved to the western lane and collided with a Chevrolet equinox, which was powered by a 32-year-old Lincoln man.

The Ford stayed with heavy front-end damage, while the Chevrolet landed in a nearby ditch.

Lso said Heath was taken to the hospital in a critical condition, where he later died. Next by relatives has been notified. The man from Lincoln was treated at the crime scene for minor injuries.

According to LSO, both drivers wore seat belts at the time of the crash.

O Street between the 148th and 162nd road was closed for almost three hours, while the authorities examined the crash. It was reopened later that day.

The Nebraska State Patrol and the Nebraska Ministry of Transport helped the accident examination.
