The school district of Bay Village has decided to cancel the remaining games for the men's Lacrosse team after Dylan Veselic's death on May 8th.

“After a time of thoughtful considerations last weekend, the Lacrosse team of the Bay High School Boys made the decision to complete their season,” said Matt Spellman, sports director of the Bay Village City School District.

Veselic was injured on May 6th when he played in a game against Olmsted Falls. He was brought to the operation immediately, but died two days later.

A prayer service for Dylan took place in the St. Raphael Church in Bay Village, and a food strand has collected more than $ 30,000 for his family.

Dylan's cause of death is a blunt force of craniocervical injury and the nature of death was ruled by accident, said Christopher Harris, external matters for the office of the medical examiner of the Cuyahoga County.
