Boonville man because of murder in 2021 overdose death death

A boonville man was charged with an overdose overdose in Columbia due to murder's second degree.

Cameron Comstock is accused of selling fentanyl to a woman on November 6, 2021. An arrest warrant was ordered on Tuesday and no bond was set. A court date is not planned. He is not listed in the Boone County prison list.

The explanation of the likely cause states that the police were called in the 2600 block of the Quail Drive on November 7, 2021 to receive a report from a dead woman in an apartment.

A roommate allegedly told the police that the woman bought Fentanyl from Comstock the day before, the explanation says. Court documents say that a medication on site has been positively tested for methamphetamine and fentanyl.
