The gang in the Void Church added something new to her repertoire by recording on Thursday, May 8th, in the Capitol Theater in Davenport, the Italian composer Fabio Frizzi, with modernatis. Void Church usually aims at audiovisual experience with goth and shoegaze-based concerts with customer-specific lighting, visual and occasional fog machine and dj-based goth-goth dance evening. Void Church was founded by members of the Horror-Goth-Goth-Band Giallows, Giallows, based in Quad City, and always seemed to be determined to summarize her love for horror films and music.

Frizzi 2 Fulci is a great way to start this merger. The tour shows Fabio Frizzi and an accompanying band that performs a live film score for Lucio Fulcis 1979 film zombie (known as Zombi 2 in Italy). Frizzi was a frequent employee of the late Italian filmmaker Fulci, whose works Spaghetti Western and Mystery films belong, but his inheritance is largely in horror films. He specialized in intensive bleeding and practical effects. zombie was created as a kind of unofficial continuation by George A. Romeros Zombie Classic from 1978 Dawn of the dead (Re -edited by Dario Argento and published in Italy as Zombi).

On Thursday, Frizi and Company used their positions on a largely dark stage, visible only with music stands, under a hanging screen at the beginning of the cult classic. Her performance was undoubtedly well -rehearsed, but it was a sensation that developed its precision as the “composer cut” of the film. Modern horror prefers the modern composition that focuses on acoustic textures and timbre to build tensions, with unique and handmade instruments being used. Italy in the 1970s, however, preferred Italy preferred a progressive rock approach that had melodies of synthesizers, guitars, bass and drums advance their macabre stories.

The large space and sound system of the Capital Theater has added a new dynamic layer zombie. While the drums and electrical instruments do not overwhelm the dialogue or the sound effects of the film, experience became more alive and added a sharper focus on the importance of film composition and soundtracks. It is a shame that modern films can no longer be inspired by the rock band composition approach, since it produces a unique accompaniment for the Fantastical and Eerie Images Images.

The event attracted well over 100 horror enthusiasts, including some newcomers to the film. Whether the audience had seen it before or not did little to discourage his enthusiasm. It was interesting to experience applause, as a scenes of infamous gore closer than the band ended a song. However, the musicians did not switch off this, and after the end she shreded music and played some additional compositions from Frizi's film career in a more traditional concert format.
