The 19-year-old dies after the motorcycle accident near Marengo

Mchenry County, Ill. (Wifr)-a 19-year-old died in Mchenry County after a motorcycle accident on Saturday, the officials shared on Tuesday.

The identity of the motorcyclist was not released.

Shortly before 3:30 p.m., May 10th, several first aiders in the region were called to County Line Road, north of the Harmony Road near Marengo, because of a single motorcycle accident.

The investigators say that the driver was south on the County Line Road when he lost control of a curve and was ejected.

Marengo's fire and rescue districts reported that a medical helicopter had been asked to find the scene. Due to the severity of his injuries, however, the decision was made to transport the motorcyclist with the ambulance.

He later died in the hospital, according to the Sheriff's office of the Mchenry County.

The examination continues.
