X uses support for 4K video -uploads

X Now enables selected creators to upload videos in 4K resolution to increase the commitment and prevent users from going on YouTube or Vimeo to watch videos. According to a contribution by X's Engineering account, the function will be available to all premium subscribers shortly.

So far, paid subscribers 1080p videos has been able to upload to a size of up to 8 GB and about three hours, according to the Support page of X. With support for the 4K resolution, the incoming uploads will change the platform for subscribers.

X has tried to tempt users to publish more video content since Elon Musk bought the company and gradually increased the upload limit for subscribers.

The platform has also introduced a special feed for vertical videos that achieved an abbreviation on the homepage of the mobile apps at the beginning of this year to use the uncertainty regarding TikKOTs prohibition in the USA
