Rohan Dennis receives two years of suspended prison sentence for the death of Mel Hoskins

Rohan Dennis received a two -year prison sentence today for his role in the “tragic accident”, which led to the death of his wife, Olympic and colleague Melissa Hoskins in 2023.

Dennis had driven away, but Hoskins had jumped on the bonnet of his car. Shortly afterwards she fell under the vehicle. She died in the hospital overnight.

Dennis' punishment was completely suspended, so that he continues to take care of the couple's two children, now six and four. He has also been banned from driving for five years and has a two -year good behavior bond.
