Midland Valley Student receives a perfect number of points from Act

Graniteville, SC (WRDW/dares) – There is good news from the public school district of Aiken County.

A 17-year-old student was recognized as a perfect number of points for the ACT test.

The senior of the Midland Valley High School, Jonathan Dixon, was recognized for his perfect 36 -point number.

It is one of the top 2% of the nation students with the number of points.

Dixon will be a first generation student who studies mathematics at the University of South Carolina.

We have heard more about Dixon's services at the school authority.

“He was accepted at 85 Colleges and offered 4.6 million US dollars in scholarships and financial aid,” said Merry Glenne Piccolino, the director of Aiken County's public school district. “He is an early graduate of the Palmetto Fellows scholarship 2025 and scored a 1540 in the SA.”

He is also an autodidactic musician who flows fluently several languages, and his family and school staff were able to join him at the meeting.
