Video shows ice agents who leave the child in Waltham, Ma Street, Council member – NBC Boston

A child was abandoned on the street in Waltham, Massachusetts, during a federal immigration operation.

A video that was distributed by Waltham City Councilor Colleen Bradley-Macarthur by Waltham City Councilor of Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra. Officials let the child on a sidewalk in the Fenton Street after arresting someone with whom the child walked.

Bradley-Macarthur said she recorded the video when she worked with others on a voluntary wax wall for neighborhood.

Masked civil servants blocked the road in several vehicles, and one drove directly past her, she said. When she asked which agency she came from, the city councilor told her: “You stay here and don't bother.”

Bradley-Macarthur says that she retired and stayed away as she continued with her phone.

“I couldn't believe that they would only leave someone there,” said Bradley-Macarthur. “The masks, right – it is so scary to see how masked men block the street with the lights and sirens.”

She said she was angry and fear of the child.

“To be honest, it felt like our community to see the video today – under siege,” she said.

According to the city councilor, the officials left the child to return home. Other volunteers who were with Bradley-Macarthur accompanied the child on foot.

Community members throughout Massachusetts react to the latest ice activities. Demonstrators take to the streets in Worcester and support them in Waltham to inform people about their rights.

Several ice detachments have been reported in Waltham in the past few weeks.

On Tuesday morning, two men drove in the same vehicle when they were arrested by ice agents. The second was violently removed when agents asked him for identification and then smashed the van's window.

The federal agents' vehicles were also seen in front of the district's courthouse last week.
