Gilroy scores five times in Rye Boys Lacosse's TROUNCING OF YORKTOWN

The Rye Boys Lacrosse team came back on the right track on Tuesday, May 13th, and converted the Yorktown Huskers 19: 7.

Sophomore Henry Gilroy broke out with five goals in victory and added an assist for a six-point game. Niejadlik also scored six points for four goals and two templates, and Tucker Hess and Tyler McDermott broke four points each. Matt Giannetti (2), Charlie Brady (2), Thomas Goldszer and Carson Miller all achieved for Rye, while Nigel Stazzini and Chris Iuliano each had a template.

Elsewhere, Ty Ramacandran made seven parades and Sam Lamonte two for the Split victory. Wilson Redd dominated in the Faceoff district with sixteen victories in 26 attempts (62% profit rate).

Rye (11-3) is back in the prize column on Saturday after a short swallow against Lasalle. The next regular game of the season is a big game – a home fight against Harrison on Thursday, May 15th.
