Jennifer Lopez shares photos of Amas facial injury

Jennifer Lopez suffered a facial injury when he rehearsed American Music Awards for the next 2025.

The singer “Love does not cost a thing” in the late hours of May 13th to share photos that were taken a week earlier and covered the extent of the incident.

Lopez (55) shared a snapshot of himself and kept an ice cream bag on her right eye and wrote: “So it happens …” before he published a second picture that revealed a swollen nose and was cut about it. Her right eye also seemed to be injured, with Lopez overlooking the photo “(during the @amas sample).”

The second picture also showed redness under Lopez's right eye and over the right cheek.

A third story confirmed that the musician needed stitches to support their recovery. Lopez shared a photo of herself with a facial surgeon based in Beverly Hills and the title “Thank you for establishing me Dr. Diamond. A week later and a lot of ice cream I'm good than new.”

In the last photo, Lopez smiles without a single mistake in the camera, apparently on the improvement and puts the incident behind them, while focusing on their hosting role at the AMAS 2025, which are to be broadcast on the Memorial Day from Las Vegas.

This is not Lopez's first incident in connection with AMAS. In 2009 she suffered bruises after a fall at the event. Addressing the fall on the Ellen Show Later she told Host Ellen degeneres that she was “messed up” from the accident and suffered an “injured bone”. While she did not specify the bones she injured, Lopez explained how the misfortune sinks.

“One of the back of the dancer was of sweat and lights and all slippery,” Lopez recalled her then naked crew. “We never said goodbye because they always had T-shirts in the rehearsal. So they were barebacked, had no shirts for the performance and when I stepped on my back, my feet got wet. When I landed, it just slipped under me.”
