Attempted murder, bodily harm, car theft suspects arrested

Officials from the police authority of Culver City made several remarkable arrests in the week of May 1 to May 7th as part of the ongoing efforts to improve public security and to tackle criminal activities throughout the community.

Arrest of identity theft – May 1st
The police reacted to reports about a suspect in the 5400 block of the Sepulveda Boulevard. The subject was found in the possession of a methamphetamine tube, burglary tools and several credit cards that were exhibited under different names. The officials arrested the person about suspected identity theft.

Firearms and traffic violations – May 2nd
On May 2, the officials carried out a traffic stop at the Culver Boulevard and on the Sepulveda Boulevard after observing a vehicle that drove at high speed. It was found that the driver was not licensed and in possession of a loaded weapon was hidden in the vehicle. The person was taken into custody.

Gang-related firearm ownership-2. May
Later on the same day, the police stopped a well -known gang member in the active probation near La Cienega Boulevard and the Blackwelter Street. A invited firearm was discovered during the encounter. The suspect was arrested

Stolen vehicle recovered – May 2nd
In a separate incident, a vehicle that was stolen was near the Sepepulveda Boulevard and the Green Valley Circle. The driver was arrested for suspected Grand Theft Auto.

Two separate attacks with stones as weapons appeared in the Jefferson Boulevard area and the Hetzler Road. The officials quickly answered and found a suspect that was positively identified by witnesses. The suspect was arrested with a fatal weapon for assault.

Crime command and stolen motorcycle – May 5th
On the 3800 block of the Albright Avenue, the officers stopped a motorcyclist who had an outstanding arrest warrant against criminal offenses. The individual was also in the possession of methamphetamine and drove a not reported stolen motorcycle. The suspect was arrested for Grand Theft car and drug possession.

Attempted murder -suspect – May 6th
The officers found a vehicle associated with a ongoing murder examination on the Sepulveda Boulevard. A traffic stops with high risk was carried out, which led to the clerks of the driver who was the suspect mentioned in the case.
