May 13th of President Armacost








President Andrew Armacost visits Jacob Warren in the video address of this week in and center for rural health.

Warren became director of the Center for Rural Health in December and recently moved to Grand Fork. Previously, he led similar centers in Wyoming and Georgia before he came to under.

Warren, a behavioral epidemiologist, talks to Armakost about his background, his impressions of and and how the center for the health of rural areas serves both the state and the nation.

According to Warren, the center serves in every county of North Dakota and administered around 20 programs that help a total of 60 hospitals and 40 clinics. The center also reaches all 50 states through its federal centers, including the National Resource Center for Indian Aging and the official federal clearinghouse for all rural health information: the hub of rural health information.

In addition, Warren answers the questions from Armacost about other functions of the center, including the development of the workforce and the future of AI when it comes to innovation of health care.
