Rock County 70-year-old dead after motorcycle crash

Town of Rock, Wis. (WMTV)-a 70-year-old man is dead after he was thrown out of his motorcycle on Tuesday evening.

According to the Rock County's office, the only motorcycle accident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. at the intersection of the South River RD and the ramp to the West Highway 11 -Bypass in the city of Rock.

The motorcycle drove south when it lost control, overturning after initial examinations in the western moat and continued in the west trench.

The 70-year-old man from Orfordville was the only person on the motorcycle and was taken to a hospital in which he later died of injuries to the crash.

His name will be published at a later date by the Rock County Medical Examiner.

The responding agencies include the Rock County Medical Examiner's office, the Rock County Sheriff's Office Crash Reconstruction Team, the Sheriff's Rock County and the fire brigade from Janesville.
