  • Ticketmaster announced a number of changes on Monday, including preliminary prices and updated waiting times.
  • The changes came on the same day when a new ban on the junk fees came into force.
  • Ticketmaster was examined after Taylor Swift's Eras tour when the website had crashed.

If Taylor Swift ever tour again, your fans will at least know how long you have to wait for tickets in line.

On Monday, the ban on junk fees from the bidet era entered into force and ticketmaster announced a number of changes that make it to comply with the new rules. Some of the changes deal with the frustrations of the Swifties when they tried to buy tickets for their tour of 2022 Eras in droves, just to have a ticket master crash.

The company said that the hopeful fans will now tell their exact place in line and how many people are ahead of them. “Real -time sales -updates” are provided for the most popular events, while the fans are waiting in line and provide information on the availability of ticket and pricing.

Ticketmaster also introduces “all in prices”, which shows the complete ticket price in advance, including all fees. However, the all-in price does not contain local taxes or delivery fees.

In 2022, Swift Loyist's hours spent hours on their computers and waited for Eras tickets – a fan previously described the apparently endless queue as “a crazy”. People fought for the coveted seats against bots, and some of them shot thousands of resale cards. Ticketmaster undertook on Monday that “fighting more bots”.

It is not just the FTC that ticketmaster examined for the fiasco – the Ministry of Justice has submitted a cartel lawsuit against Live Nation Entertainment, its parent company. The doj claims that Live Nation and Ticketmaster are illegal to the market and suppress innovations in having too much control over fans and artists. Ultimately, the continued suit tries to separate the live nation -because Swift is the champion of the Breakup song.

Representatives of Swift and Ticketmaster did not immediately answer the request from BI for comment.
