Las Vega's husband avoids a prison after a plea deal is reduced from the indictment of sex crime from children from 45 to 2

Las Vegas (Klas) – A man from Las Vegas is not imprisoned as part of a plea contract that reduced the number of charges in connection with sexual crimes by children with whom he was confronted from 45 to two.

Frank Yee was arrested in 2020 and was originally charged, which included numerous sexual assault and artiness with a child under the age of 14. Further charges were kidnappings first degree, child abuse, neglect or danger and use of small younger people than 14 as a sexual representation in a performance.

The Clark County officers completed a plea in February with Yee, which reduced the number of charges of the original 45 to two cases of testing with a child under 14 years.

The family involved expressed their disappointment in the deal before his conviction before the district court of Clark on Tuesday, including a mother who said she had screamed for justice.

“I am the mother of a child who was sexually abused,” she said. “I don't sleep much – I can't. The deception caused by the defendant, which was cut too deep.”

While Yee has kept his innocence, the deputy district attorney of Clark County, Skyler Sullivan, described the situation as “annoying”.

“He can still sit here and say that he didn't do anything wrong and tried to blame everyone else except him,” said Sullivan.

Robert Draskovich, the defender of Yee, said the agreement was due to protracted procedures, and there was “very meritorious immune system” that would have been presented.

According to court files, a person told the investigators that their sexual abuse began at the age of around 8 years and continued up to the age of 13. She said that the abuse had left an immense influence on her.

Christy Craig, judge of the eighth court court between Clark County, Yee said, she could hear the pain in the voices of those, the languages.

“I can hear it,” said Craig. “I recognize it. It's hard to hear.”

Yee was sentenced to 10 years in prison. However, since his prison sentence was suspended, he will not serve time. Instead, he will serve probation. If he hurt it, he could be sent to prison. In addition, Yee, as a sex offender, has to register permanently and submit to the monitoring of his electronics.
