However, a moment of the meeting has become viral on social media, which triggers an unusual debate between American and Saudi users. In the widespread video, both Trump and the Crown Prince are served a drink. While Prince Mohammed drinks from his glass, Trump will hold his a few minutes before putting him on the table – without visibly taking a sip.

Reactions

This gesture has triggered a wave of speculation. Many American users argued that Trump might have rejected the drink due to strict security protocols. Others speculated that the drink may contain caffeine from which Trump is known.

“If you don't know what is in your food, don't eat it. If you don't know what is in your water, don't drink it. If you don't know what's in your vaccine, don't take it. The principle is very simple,” commented an American.

Another wrote: “I read that Trump did not consume caffeine. Maybe that's why he passed on the drink.”

In response to a comment on these protocols, Grok AI said: “US presidents follow strict protocols for nutritional security and often only pay attention to food prepared by the employees of the White House, especially if they are minimized with aviation one. This minimizes risks such as poisoning. However, they can be equipped with state visits. Diplomacy.”

In contrast, Saudi users countered these claims by sharing screenshots and alternative angles from the video and insisting that Trump actually drank out of the glass.

A user wrote: “He drank it in no time.”

Another added: “He drank the whole cup.”

The video collected more than 15 million views within 24 hours of publication.
