What is final

The final target lines are opened with a premonition as it should. The first 10 minutes show how the Sky View Restaurant (almost) burned down in a careful detail and caused hundreds of deaths about 50 years ago. But Iris Campbell sees everything and saves everyone. In the present, the premonition appears as a nightmare for Stefani Reyes, the granddaughter of Iris. She senses her alienated, crazy grandma to get to the bottom, just to find out that the entire clan is on the hit list of death. Iris saved himself all the years, which led to the birth of her children and grandchildren. And now death wants them to disappear in the film's most innovative way.

What works and what doesn't

Bloodlines remain true to the proven formula of the franchise, but still finds ways of being innovative and fresh. The third and fourth films in the franchise looked dull and repeatedly looked, with almost the same template being pursued every time. The bloodlines include the Family Curse Trope, which turns the film into something else and is yet a very final goal.

In contrast to previous final target films, Bloodlines invests in a structure for some time. In the first hour there are almost zero deaths (discount the opening sequence). The film takes the time to present us in the attitude and this new dynamic and at the same time to maintain its pace.

Not that there are no mistakes with blood lines. For one thing, the acting is a pedestrian. The dialogue delivery for most parts is cruel. None of the actors seem to have spent time to ensure that their characters look like something other than caricatures. Nevertheless, none of this is important. Like every final film, bloodlines do not focus on the characters or their arches, but in the way they die. The butterfly effect and the chain reaction, which leads to every death, is what the audience is. And the film delivers in this department.

The gore is reinforced in final bloodlines. But the challenge is difficult. This film comes at a time when the average viewer is oversaturated with information. We saw everything, everything felt. Countless short videos and imitators showed us the cruelest deaths. After all of this, shocking the audience requires a lot of work. And bloodline makes it beautiful. It manages to grab it, clap, cover your mouth and sometimes even laugh when body parts are cut, hacked and cut everywhere on the screen.

Bloodlines even manage to include subtle Easter eggs in some of the best -known moments of the franchise, including this truck filled with protocols. And it never makes it tokenistic.

What is the most for final target blood lines is the refusal to ever take yourself seriously. The Campy feeling that horror lost a decade ago makes it great. From references to horror tropics to funny red herring and a few clever jokes, the humor of the film Makabber is, but never sick. However, you can question your own morality if you giggle or wonder for the fifth time when a character hits cruel death. But then that's the beauty of this franchise. It makes death entertaining and beautiful. And it has never looked more breathtaking than in blood lines.
