Sir David Amess' daughter said that she rejected an apology from Belfast Band Kniecap after the video seemed to show a member from November 2023, in which it said: “The only good Tory is a dead tory. Kill your local MP.”

Knecap said that film material had been deliberately removed from the context and was “exploited and armed”. They never supported Hamas or the Hisbollah and condemned all attacks on civilians.
