Spring football season is behind us in the world of college football, and although it looks as if the next section of months will be in terms of content, there is still a lot to speak, with the recruitment visits and the rush of the obligations that lead us to the autumn camp at the end of summer.

It should be another incredibly entertaining season in the big ten conference. While The Oregon Ducks won the conference in their first season as a league members last year Ohio State Buckeyes had the last laugh and won the national championship.

This year the big ten will be again in the middle of things with a handful of Team Penn State, Ohio State, Oregon and Illinois-Mitte, which are generally seen as top 10 teams that come into the new season. The ducks have many questions to answer, but many expectations if they progress with new starters almost across the board.

If Dan Lanning Oregon will lead back to the conference title and College Football playoff, he has to get the regular season rolling. Fortunately, the ducks have a cheap schedule, especially at the beginning of the year.

So we project the season for the ducks, with game-for-game score forecasts for every week.

Week 1 – against Montana State Bobcats

Date: August 30, 2025

Location: Autzen Stadium, Eugene or

Score forecast: Oregon 56, Montana State 6

Analysis: The opening against an FCS opponent is always cheap for a team like the Ducks, although Montana State 2024 lost to the state of North Dakota. While the Bobcats may be among the best games at this level, the ducks should not have much difficulty opening a season opening victory and giving a new look at the new look at an easy season.

Week 2 – against Oklahoma State Cowboys

Date: September 6, 2025

Location: Autzen Stadium, Eugene or

Score forecast: Oregon 38, Oklahoma State 13

Analysis: Oklahoma State has been a solid team in the Big 12 in recent years, but in 2024 they had a down season that only went 3: 9 a year. I am not sure that the expectations will be high this season, with Zane Flores being charged with QB and no longer Ollie Gordon in the Backfield. This should be a relatively comfortable victory for the ducks, especially at home.

Week 3 – in Northwestern Wildcats

Date: September 13, 2025

Location: Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium, Evanstown, IL

Opponent WinLOSS projection: 3-9 (1-8 big ten)

Score forecast: Oregon 44, northwest 9

Analysis: It will be a long journey for Oregon to play on the temporary field on the Northwestern campus, but that will probably be the most difficult thing about the trip for the ducks. It will be interesting to see how the Smu Transfer QB Preston Stone can help things for the wildcats and whether head coach David Braun can get going again in his third season or not. In any case, I think Oregon will cross in this game.

Week 4 – against Oregon State Beavers

Date: September 20, 2025

Location: Autzen Stadium, Eugene or

Score forecast: Oregon 49, Oregon State 14

Analysis: While this is a funny rivalry that I can pay attention to, I fear that the competition between Oregon and Oregon State will no longer be at the same level in the future. Since the ducks climbed in the big ten and the beavers lived in the PAC-2, the civil war projects project a blowout for many years, simply because of the inequality in the talent between the two programs.

Week 5 – in Penn State Nittany Lions

Date: September 27, 2025

Location: Beaver Stadium, Happy Valley, PA

Opponent WinLOSS projection: 11-1 (8-1 big ten)

Score forecast: Penn State 31, Oregon 27

Analysis: By far the hardest game in Oregon's schedule and the only defeat of the regular season that I have about my predictions. Penn State returns a ton of her best players from the 2024 season, including QB Drew Allar as well as RB Nicolas Singleton and RB Kaytron Allen. Although I think Oregon can certainly compete with the Nittany Lions, the fact that this game is played in the Beaver Stadium and may be a white-out environment, but I have to give Penn State the upper hand.

Week 6 – bye week

For the ducks, this is a pretty well-coordinated bye week. In a perfect world, you may be facing Penn State's game to enable additional break and preparation before the retrieval of the Big Ten Championship. A week after the trip to Happy Valley, however, the second half of the season can recover and prepare for the second half of the season.

Opponent WinLOSS projection: 9-3 (6-3 big ten)

Score forecast: Oregon 33, Indiana 24

Analysis: It will be very interesting to see how good Indiana is this year and whether you have the same success or not that you did in the center with Kurtis Rourke a year ago. Curt Cignetting brought Californian Transfer QB Fernando Mendoza, which is expected to be one of the top passers -by of the conference. So if he can meet expectations, the Hoosiers can make some noise again. In both cases, I think that the ducks can win this game at home, which would be great if they are predicted, losing Penn State.

Week 8 – at Rutgers Scarlet Knights

Date: October 18, 2025

Location: Shi Stadium, PiscataWay, NJ

Opponent WinLOSS projection: 5-7 (2-7 big ten)

Score forecast: Oregon 42, Rutgers 17

Analysis: Rutgers may be decent this year, but you have to ask yourself how far QB AThan Kaliakmanis can lead her. The Scarlet Knights have received a great handling of North Texas and took WR DT Sheffield, but there are many other positions on the squad that are not stacked on the ducks/. I have Oregon here, big.

Week 9 – against Wisconsin Badgers

Date: October 25, 2025

Location: Autzen Stadium, Eugene or

Opponent WinLOSS projection: 4-8 (2-7 big ten)

Score forecast: Oregon 48, Wisconsin 13

Analysis: Wisconsin made a big win in Camp Randall with 16: 13 on the street in 2024 in 2024, but I don't think Oregon will have so much trouble this time. The Badgers bring Billy Edwards Jr. from Maryland, so we will see how far he can take it, but I would not surprise myself at all if Wisconsin is again near the lower half of the conference this year.

Week 10 – bye week

Another very well-placed bye week for the ducks, as the last handful of games on their schedule could prove difficult. Let's buckle up.

Week 11 – in Iowa Hawkeyes

Date: November 8, 2025

Location: Kinnick Stadium, Iowa City, IA

Opponent WinLOSS projection: 6-6 (4-5 big ten)

Score forecast: Oregon 24, Iowa 16

Analysis: I think Oregon is better than Iowa, and I think you can beat it on almost every Saturday. However, if you go on the street in the Kinnick Stadium in November and go into a floor and pound with Kirk Ferentz, it sounds like a recipe for a disaster if you are not careful. I think the ducks take this game on the street, but it reminds me of the Wisconsin game last year, where it wasn't comfortable than it was over.

Week 12 – against Minnesota Gopher

Date: November 15, 2025

Location: Autzen Stadium, Eugene or

Opponent WinLOSS projection: 7-5 (4-5 big ten)

Score forecast: Oregon 38, Minnesota 13

Analysis: Minnesota is one of these teams this year that could surprise some people in the big ten. I think PJ Fleck is a solid coach, but they want a lot in the deep card. I don't think Oregon will have big problems to achieve this victory at home and prepare for a hard final couple.

Week 13 – Against USC Trojan

Date: November 22, 2025

Location: Autzen Stadium, Eugene or

Opponent WinLOSS projection: 9-3 (7-2 big ten)

Score forecast: Oregon 35, USC 24

Analysis: Whenever Oregon and USC meet, it will be a good time. We don't know exactly what the Trojans will look like this year, but they are inevitably better than in 2024, otherwise there could be some real questions about Lincoln Riley in Los Angeles. If Jayden Maiava and Jakobi Lane can wear the crime and the defense can improve, this could be a close game. I don't think USC is currently at the same level of competition as the ducks.

Week 14 – in Washington Huskies

Date: November 29, 2025

Location: Husky Stadium, Seattle, WA

Opponent WinLOSS projection: 9-3 (6-3 big ten)

Score forecast: Oregon 38, Washington 20

Analysis: Dan Lanning finally came over the Washington hump in 2024 and I don't see that he will soon take a step backwards. While the huskies will be better in 2025 than a year ago, especially thanks to Demond Williams, I still think that Oregon can win this victory, even on the street in Seattle.
